Drivers & Vehicles
Drivers and cars are handpicked. A rigorous recruitment policy restricts Executive First representatives to black cab drivers with a minimum of 10 years experience. All chauffeurs must be certified in ‘The Knowledge’ and are fully licensed by the Public Carriage Office.
Adaptability is paramount. The itinerary of a senior executive may involve a lengthy schedule of meetings followed by a programme of evening entertainment. Executive First’s chauffeurs appreciate the need for services to be maintained around the clock and will stay overnight at hotels near the client.
All drivers receive extensive training in evasive driving body language, close protection, disability awareness and first aid. In order to protect the interests of clients, Executive First’s sign confidentiality agreements and are CRB checked to Bank of England specifications. Multi-lingual drivers are available upon request.
Only the highest standard of vehicle is accepted into the fleet. Executive First offers a range of options including E Class/S Class Mercedes, the Audi A8 and Chrysler Voyagers. All are fully equipped with leather interiors and may be customised with mobile office or in car entertainment packages.
Executive First has developed relationships with helicopter and coach companies in addition to a network of international partners. For clients travelling beyond the UK, Executive First will arrange ground transportation for the entire duration of their visit anywhere in the world.

Executive First’s Arrival Advice service is designed to ease communication between driver and passenger in crowded areas. At the request of clients, specific elements of the service can also be personalised including chauffeur dress code, air-conditioning, meet & greet, weddings and event management.
Green Leadership
In March 2005, Radio Taxis Group became the world’s first Carbon Neutral taxi company.
Carbon neutrality is a complex undertaking. Independent assessors determine the emissions produced by each organisation, otherwise known as a Carbon Footprint. Having introduced measures to reduce that figure, Radio Taxis set about completing the process by balancing surplus emissions against ‘offsets’ - e.g. making financial investments in projects that benefit the environment.
For companies seeking to become carbon neutral, the scale of investment in offset ‘credits’ can be prohibitive. By working with Radio Taxis - which has already offset emissions - organisations are not producing a carbon footprint themselves. They have nothing to offset in regard to personal transportation - and no costs are incurred!
