370 members of staff work at Head Office in Red Lion Square, with secondary premises elsewhere in Holborn. Mishcon de Reya was one of the first UK law firms to become carbon neutral and has been dedicated to pro-bono work for many years.

Ground transportation plays a key role in day-to-day activities. Partners, associates and paralegals require transfers to and from court, frequently on a last minute basis. Other journeys may include taking staff to external meetings or marketing events, airport runs and collecting clients from across Central London.

The Group initiated a comprehensive programme to reduce internal Carbon Dioxide (CO2) emissions - offsetting unavoidable emissions through renewable energy projects in UK, Europe and Asia.
Working Together
Mishcon de Reya and Radio Taxis have worked in tandem for over 10 years. 50-70 cabs per week transport members of staff around London to meetings, conferences and other engagements. Upon arrival, drivers enter the building and announce themselves to a member of the reception team.
Peak periods are usually around lunchtime and the vast majority of bookings are made at short notice. A simple and straightforward booking process requires ID confirmation and an account number to confirm the journey. Each booking is assigned an individual cost code, enabling Mishcon de Reya to assign the expense of each journey to the client in question.
Management information is timely and clear. Radio Taxis provides Mishcon de Reya with a daily breakdown of services, including total spend, journey volumes, waiting times, destinations etc.
The backroom teams enjoy a productive and open relationship. Meetings are held on a frequent basis to identify process improvements and develop fresh ideas for the service.
