• Its official - London taxis are best! London Taxis voted number 1 in world 3rd year in row (Hotels.com) The Travel Magazine report

  London taxis have been voted the best in the world for the third year running. This is according to the annual taxi report compiled by Hotels.com.  And reported on in "The Travel Magazine"   The report says that the majority of travellers (59%) polled across the world said that London's black cabs were by far and away the pick of the world's taxis.   London's taxi drivers came out the best across a number of categories including friendliness, cleanliness, quality of driving and knowledge of the area.   London's taxis beat off competition from New York (favourite amongst 27% of travellers and up 10% compared with last year) and Tokyo (which narrowly came third with 26% of the vote.) The Hotels.com survey found that the German city of Berlin and capital of Thailand, Bangkok, famed for its tuk tuk taxis completed the top 5.   The top ten cities in the world for taxis Read more >>

London is a wonderful place for business and for its quality of life. It can be argued that London is now the world’s top city.
